Overview
Unique direct thermal technology that allows you to print in high visibility in black and red on the entire label. Rapidly prints black and white labels for envelopes, packages, file folders, barcodes and assorted business uses. Brother DK Die Cut Labels are convenient pre-sized labels that are pre-cut into label shapes/sizes commonly used in mailing and administrative applications.
DK Continuous Length Tapes offer added flexibility. These convenient paper tape and film labels allow the user to determine the label length. Continuous Length Tapes are compatible with Brother QL Label Printers.

Printer note suitable for Mac. Cannot be used for printing addresses from Contacts. This can be easily fixed by adding a different size to the list of label sizes, then label could be printed off a roll.

The product works well. I am not happy that a battery was not included despite the instructions very clearly stating that the printer needs to be charged for a number of hours and not to use it until the battery is fully charged. This is wrong and misleading.

QL-820NWB is a fast and versatile printer. It is an ideal printer for any small label jobs. The main drawback is the lack of video-base illustration on its usage and the accompany manual is not user friendly. It took me a couple of weeks to learn to use the accompany software to drive the printer.

Does as expected. The machine not working out that the label in printer has changed is annoying as cannot use the quick print as errors and is stuck on the first label used. Tried to get to update using both the app on phone and desktop software.

The QL820 is great but there is a number of quirks, it doesn’t always seem to recognise the type of paper being used, and when using the software you can send prints thinking the print has gone ahead only to find the red light flashing with an error message, sometimes requiring a reset or power off...
